does anyone know what the dimensions are for a Maxwell 21 winch and Maxwell 25 self tailing winch are? Maxwell apparently has sold the division to Arco and do not have any of that information any more. regards,
I bought springs for my Maxwell winches from the Australian Yacht winch Company. I emailed Allen Hutton who then attached drawings of my winches in his reply to make sure that I bought the right springs. His email address is winches@attglobal.net. He was very helpful and probably can help you out.
I e-mailed Allen Hutton as well and he is very helpful. I am a complete "Rookie" to sailing and he explained how to take the winch apart and order parts.
