I am looking for a place that sells Maxwell 20 winch parts or the entire winch? I have a 1984 Hunter 34.

Good luck finding these parts. Maxwell quit making winches about 10 years ago. I think the parts you are looking for are more apt to be found in the boat junk yards or salvage/consignment place.

E-mail Hutton-Arco and see if they carry what you need: winches@attglobal.net. An H28.5 owner on our website bought some Maxwell parts from them not long ago and was happy with their service.
Also, various Maxwells show up on eBay now and then. May be worthwhile to buy one for parts.

Minardi: Did you ever locate a Maxwell 20 or parts?? Just busted my Maxwell 20 servicing the main on an 86 H31 this weekend in some really rough weather in the Lower Chesapeake Bay and now need to fix/replace it.
