i have just purchaced a 17" maxi prop and could anywone who ownes one give me the most efficient setting for it. pyi says to use 20 deg pitch. is this the best setting which translates to nds on the prop itself thanx glenn
Glenn, I have a Maxprop on my 380 which has the same hull as you 376. As I recall, I had to back off the recommended setting to 18 degrees. You can start at either setting and adjust as needed to obtain 3600rpm@W.O.T.. I hope this helps, I have been extremely pleased with the performance of the prop.
