Max-Prop Shaft

Kevin,I have an old classic Max-Prop which fits a 1 inch shaft. I Want to use it on a 1 1/8 inch shaft. Can I buy the correct mount and use it on my old prop or can the old mount be re-sized safely?

No problem it will work.

Dear Richard,Thanks for the note. No problem. We can bore out the existing 1” inch hub to the new 1 1/8” or we can simply replace the existing 1” hub with a new 1 1/8” hub. The boring is very easy just send us the hub we bore we ship back. To replace the hub you simple send us the complete propeller we remove 1” hub refit a new 1 1/8” and ship it all back to you. In either case the time frame is apx. one week from the time we receive the components. One thing you may want to let me know is the HP. I assume you have a new boat and that its configuration is the larger shaft? If so what is HP? To much HP (60 HP) could force us to use a larger hub.
