Just wondering if the swing keel for the 26s is all fiberglass or does it have a wood core. I'm going to slip the boat for the first time in the 8 years I've owned this boat and wondering if there is any chance of rotting the keel. If will be in fresh water.

It's not solid, but it's not a wood core either. Some other honeycomb material. It's actually designed to fill with water and sink. We always kept ours slipped during the season for about 10 years. I think you can still buy one of HDPE from Ruddercraft for $$$
