I have a '72 Catalina 27' and need to replace the four 2" rollers in the mast head. There is also a plate that devides the two sets of rollers that needs to be replaced if there isn't something else that could/should be used. '72 is kind of old and I would bet there is something else to replace these 2" nylon looking wheels. Anyone have any insight. John "Buddy Too"

Sheeves

Sheaves, they are called sheaves and Catalina has them in stock. Also check out Catalina Direct it maybe a better sheave. http://www.catalinadirect.com On a 27 I am not sure it isn't better to drop the mast. I got so good at it that I could drop it in 30 minutes with one helper. Sure is a lot easyer working on the top of the mast with all of the time that you need. If you have it down change out that lite with a new one, don,t just change the bulb. Also it's a good time to clean out all of that goop in the track so the main will go up nice and smooth. Rodger
