I have a 1982 O'Day 37 with an Isomat mast. My two masthead lights are out. (One is on top the other is near the spreaders.) I can't climb the mast myself but need to have the bulbs changed. does anyone have any idea specificlally what kind of bulbs these masthead ligts use. I'll need to send someone up with the bulbs. However, I don't want to do it twice if I could figure out what bulbs they need. Anyone have any accurate advice or experience with these lights?

Masthead lights for O'Day 25

I don't know the answer to this question, but I just checked the archives to see if anyone has asked about masthead lights for an O'Day 25. I have the same issue, don't want to go up twice. I wonder if the bulbs are the same as those on the bow and stern lights. Does anyone know? Thanks Alan

mast head light

The masthead light is the one at the spreaders to be used when under motor power, the light at the top of your mast is a anchor light ,to be used when you are at anchor. You might try heeling your boat near shore or a dock using the main sheet.
