I have a couple questions about my mast wiring / connectors.
First is, does anyone know where to find these types of connectors. I know of them as cannon plugs but can't seem to find them, not sure if there is a different / better name to search for them under.
I have 2 long test wires that I can connect from my mast step to the mast on the ground to test the lights and anonometer. I need to replace the female side of this plug shown on my test wire.
the second question is I plugged in my anonometer with the other test wire and at a rest it is reading 12 knots of wind speed. I had my 7 year old spin it and it read 59mph. It is an old data marine system and I dont have time this year to replace the entire system. Does anyone know if they can be calibrated, or if there are common problems with the instrument at the mast head, or if it could be that the connectors are oxidized causing interference?
