Mast Stop Pin I'm a new 1994 H26 owner. Just prior to my purchase, the mast was replaced, thanks to Hurricane Ivan. The H26 manual makes a reference to a stop pin to prevent the mainsail luff slldes from falling out the mast track. The "pin" on my new mast is a stainless screw. Does the original mast actually have a pin instead of a screw? If so, what size and length? Does it go all the way through the mast and out the other side? Sorry for the duplicate posting on "Ask a Hunter Owner". Thanks, Brian

Plug -- order from Hunter

My 1999 H260 has a plug that slides up behind the last sail slug and is secured by a thumb screw and washer that clamps it in the track. Order two so you have a spare... they like to go for a swim. I haven't lost mine yet, but it has tried to get away several times! Others have drilled a hole for a pin, which is probably a good alternative. Fair winds, Tom

Davis Sail Track Stop

I have two on my mast (one above and one below the gate) and keep a spare jjust in case. They work great. See link below for pics and info. Try the HOW Chandlery first and if that doesn't work, you should be able to get them at WM/BoatUS, Sailnet or directly from Davis. Good luck. Peter H23 "Raven"
