I just bought an ODay 23 at an auction for our Maritime Foundation. It is in good shape and looks to be a solid vessel. I'm sure I'll have a million questions since I have no documentation and it needs work. Please bear with me. The mast has a pin in the aft hole of the mast plate, however, there is no pin in the the forward hole. This hole is smaller than the aft hole. Is there a pin that should go into that hole when stepped in the tabernacle? If so what type of pin and where do I get it? Thanks, mike

You can get original o'day parts at this site http://www.drmarine.com/ If you measure the hole diameter and length, you may be able to find a stainless steel bolt, cut off the threads, drill a hole for a cotter pin near the end, and have a cheap replacement, albeit, with a bit of elbow grease.
