Mast Leaks in the 35.5
The best way to fix this problem is to remove the mast along with the wires through the cabin top. The seal around the wires is probably slowing leaking. You cannot seal the tube properly from the cabin side. Another thing to do is to drill a drain hole in the front of the mast just above the mounting collar. This should be a 1/4 inch hole. The existing drain holes are in the bottom of the collar on the sides and are very small. They tend to become clogged up and cause the water to rise in the mast until it is above the top of the wiring tube. Then it slowly leaks down the wiring into the cabin roof area.
