I spent yesterday pulling the mast step plate on my C30 and cutting the deck away under same to fix the mast step compression problem that has developed. I wound up cutting down and removing 2 inches of deck fiberglass and wet plywood before I hit dry material. My question,for those who've made this type of repair, how long did you let the area dry out before rebuilding with fiberglass and epoxy? At this point I'm thinking I may let the area dry over the winter and finish the repair in the spring. Also if you've made this repair how well is it holding up? Comments would be appreciated
