Hi , I am in need of some assistance regarding mast replacement for a 1977 Catalina 22. This past Friday I received a call from the harbormaster to let me know that a storm had come in and moved my boat and moorning north into another vessel. I was also informed that the storm brought down my mast.(It snapped in two at the spreaders) I am looking for either a used mast, or suggestions of where I may obain a new mast. I could reuse my masthead and hardware as it was not damaged. any information would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

John, Sorry to hear your misfortune. I see that Catalina Direct sells the mast assembly or just the extrusion. Don't know what shipping would be but you might want to check with them. If you can reuse your fittings, the extrusion is less than $500. Also, not sure if this would be the same for the older C-22, I don't remember when the mast changed. Good luck, fair winds, Jim
