Mast related rigging and hardware

there is track (below the boom attachment track), and an padeye below that. What is their intended use? My thoughts is that they are used to add blocks to run lines to cockpit, right?

Hard to tell with the lack of focus in the first photo, but perhaps a boom vang attachment point?

Yes of course. The boat did come with a boom vang. thanks.

Pad-eye is for boom-vang, track is to mount boom gooseneck to when using the boom as a gin-pole while raising the mast. The track was part of the optional mast-raising rigging.
