Call a MacGregor dealer, they should have the mast raising system you want for about $100 installed. It consists of "baby stays" to hold the mast from swinging right or left as you raise the mast. It should also have a pole you will attach to the base of you mast on the side facing the bow. At the end of the pole you will attach your main halyard, then there will be a pully system you will attach to the pole and the bow of your boat. Pulling on this pully rope will raise your mast for you.
