Guess what I found in my boat file this week. Instructions on a Mast Raising System for the O'Day 25. I have saved it in an Acrobat file format. I am willing to post it on the web site, if someone will tell me where. The copy I have is a photo copy of the original, so some of the pictures may be a little dark. But you should get the idea.

I Can Post It if You Have Problems

The original diagram and instructions (there are a couple of variations floating around), are also available at the Yahoo, O'Day club site in the photo gallery. I have a copy and can scan it and post it here if EJT can't. Just an aside, the mast raising device was optional on the 23 and 25, but requires a modification to your cap shrouds (triangular plates are added), 2 additional stabilizing lines and the addition of a second gooseneck. It uses the boom as a leverage arm to raise and lower the mast. Let me know if I can help. Don

I pick up my 1975, 25' O'Day Saturday. She is very sound but needs lots of TLC, my specialty. Only paid $4,900. Help on stepping and rigging would be great. Photo's a plus. Ric NCCGM@AOL.COM
