Has anyone modified their G-23 to preclude the pumping of the mast in a seaway? I have one set of upper and one set of lower shrouds. There is nothing to stop the middle of the mast from moving forward, as a fore and aft set of lowers would do. I have thought of adding a light (1/8" wire) aft lowers to a new chainplate attached to the main bulkhead. Any thoughts? Cheers, Ian
