Here is our mast lowering check list. I hope these help someone, and would appreciate any improvements. 1. Mast Lowering Checklist 2. Remove boom 3. Detach mast wiring 4. Attach side support cables 5. Put in mast crutch 6. Put in chin pole 7. Fasten jib halyard to pole 8. Attach mainsheet tackle to pole and bow anchor eye 9. Run mainsheet to port winch under all lines 10. Release all lines from cleats and stoppers 11. Check that mainsheet is cleated at bow 12. Release pin from stem fitting and tie furler to life lines 13. Push mast back 14. Remove chin pole, mainsheet and side stays. 15. Remove pin from mast step 16. Remove wind instrument then more mast forwared to bow pulpit 17. Remove forestay from upper fitting 18. Lash furler and lines to mast using furlaker halyard 19. Raise rudder and remove rudder line 20. Raise motor 21. Tie mast to mast crutch and stern cleats 22. Tie mast to bow pulpit and carpet 23. Attach tie downs to trailer 24. Grease wheels
