Are there any owners that know the length of the spar for a 35.5 legend?
where can I get this info?
I don't trust the sailboat data site as I have known it to be inaccurate.
I contacted rigrite a while back and they pretty much wanted me to find out and know exact lengths and dementions I wanted for the boat, which I don't know. I figured them being the expert riggers, could enlighten me on the best rig for my certain boat, but they were not helpful in the least.
Any help would be appreciated!

get a local rigger to come survey the boat, having someone there on hand to do these things is the best way to go, im sure baltimore has some reputable riggers available, find one and have him survey the boat for a new spar then call selden or your spar manufacturer of choice and the rest will fall into place pretty simply. big money tho.

I am savvy with rigging masts, I just need the measurements from the original rig to properly rig her. Thanks though. It is big money if you hire some one to take care of it for you, but there is a 52' mast and rigging on ebay now for $1,500, that would have her up and sailing, granted its not perfect, however I have seen many other nice new old stock and so on spars around online, isomat, usspar, ect, all for under 5k. really nice in mast furling main mast off a 2010 hunter 39 on ebay right now for 2k that could possibly be shortened. Obviously you want to pare the spar properly and installation is fairly simple. There are so many perfectly good name brand spars sitting around, I don't feel it makes sense to buy new from manufacture, but thats just me, I like recycling, good for the world, did I mention Cheap!

Kenyon Isomat was bought out by Z spar in the nineties but without going into it, Z spar botched that up and closed. Jim Culibert who was the sales manger along with others started Charleston Spars back in the same location as Kenyon Isomat in Charlotte, NC. He may have that information as well. Keep me posted if this information helped.
