Mast ideas and guidance for a Capri-22 Tall rig.

Hi all, i'm in need of guidance. I bought a Capri22 Tall boat. Nice rig. It was de-masted. Broke in half at the spreader. It's 3200 for a complete new mast from Catalina Yacht direct. Thats mast, foot, and rigging kit. Boat's in great shape otherwise. Are there other options? I have tried searching for a used tall mast, but it's limited. No idea if i could find a 30ft mast similar and have a rigger do it up for less. Any thoughts? Much appreciated.

Buy a salvage boat for the mast OR buy a used mast from an on-line used mast supply house.

Hey all, thought i'd share here. New mast complete from catalina direct is a bit costly. They switched to a seldon mast in 2010 about. So that means mast, rigging, and possibly a new boom. Can y'all share your thoughts on how a capri 22 tall rig sails? I got this package with trailer for 900 bucks. in amazing shape. Am i nuts to put 4k into a new mast setup?

I've been out of the market for a while, but $900 + amazing shape + $3k for a mast sounds about "even" if the sails are in good shape.
As long as only the tube is busted, I would contact the tube makers directly, buy a new tube, put all the old parts on the new tube myself. The rivet gun for 3/8-Inch stainless steel pop rivets is a little exotic, but Harbor Freight had one cheap when I needed it.
