C-27 Mast Height
Leo-- I checked my paperwork last night. I have a spec sheet listing the vertical clearance of the C-27 standard rig as 38.3 feet. The tall rig is 39.8 feet. This doesn't count any extras, such as wind vanes, antennae, etc. My standard rig has a large (3 feet) VHF antenna, making my bridge clearance 41 feet. If you're going under any bridges, and relying on these numbers, be sure you have PLENTY of additional clearance to allow for wave action, wakes from boat traffic, measurement error, etc.! Good luck.
