Mast height

does anyone out there know how high a tall rig mast sits above the waterline?

The owners manual says the mast is 29 feet, about 3-4 feet from mast step to waterline, so 32-33 feet. I checker my standard rig for clearance to Johns Pass on the west coast of Florida and found it too tall to pass under the bridge. Remember that a power boat will always want to share passage under bridges creating wakes that adds/subtracts a few feet of clearance. Don't ask me how I know. Boom! On a carbon fiber mast that just bent, whew!

Don’t forget to add a foot or so for your windex, especially if you have the bird poker on top.
