I found that the sheave pulleys has pretty worn, with a clear line created by the 3mm halyard cables. The bush bearing of the main sheave has worn (and properly malfunction) and keep scratching the blot, which almost breaks!
As most Yamaha boats are pretty old, I'd recommend the other owners when there is chance to step down the mast, you may consider checking the sheaves in details. I didn't notice the worn bush and bolt until I disassemble the mast head.
Now I need to find the replacements of the sheave pulleys. Not sure if it is available from local shops. Otherwise I may need to do mail order from U.S. (or elsewhere). Any suggestions of mail order websites?
Thanks!
