Can someone tell me the type of bulb I need for my masthead light ? Also what size screw goes in the black cap that holds the lenses ?

Depends upon the fitting...on mine its a festoon type bulb but I don't recall the length. You may wish to get an LED festoon style bulb to minimize current draw.

Kind regards

see if you can match the light in a catalogue but you have the one I assume with two lights with a divider in the middle one for anchor light ( both bulbs on) and the one bulb on for motoring at night. With that, contact the mfg and see what they suggest.

Dave my mast head light looks like the one that is sold here in the store . Not sure how I determine the manufacture . It has what appears to be two sockets and two lenses and a black top cap that is missing the screw . Heading back to the store to try and determine the manufacture , Thanks , How the house coming > ?

mmsailor;
I had to replace the mast light on my H260, water came in and the lens socket showed badly oxidation. I put a combination of anchor and tri-color navy light instead, replaced both bulbs (anchor 10W, tri-color 25W) with LED. Found for the anchor light even one with photo sensor, which goes on and off on its own, quite nice when anchored, go out and come back when dark, the light would go on and off when sleeping in. Well, I am a playful guy.

Regarding your missing screw, when you can take the fixture to Lowes, you may find a fitting SS screw right there. If you can't take it off, I would recommend to bring some small screws to the boat and try to fit one.
