I have a 1984 H-31 and it has blocks for two forward Halyards in the mast head. They can be run either behind the forestay or in front (for spinnaker) . You actually have two shieves in front of the forestay attaching point and two behind. You can feed one halyard through the forward shieve for your spinnaker. You will have to thread the halyard down threw the mast to the base and remove the lower pulley door and retreive the end.
