Mast hardware 1980 H 30

Is there hardware to close the sail track off? The plastic tabs want to pop out when raising the mainsail, making it a two person operation.
What is the correct spreader boot size?

The part you are looking for is called a gate. there should be a machine screw hole near where the track opens up to remove the tabs. The gate fastens tot he mast with a thumb screw. there are several different types but all just cover the track opening.
What type of track do you have?
