Does anyone know if there is a mast ground (maybe to keel or to a common ground buried in the glass) on a 1976 30'. I have had the mast support out completely and there is no wire, no slot in the compression post, and no metallic link between Mast and keel that I can see. The post is coming out one more time for a slight modification to the piece of teak it sits on, but I would like to address it before I put the post back in forever. I am not even sure there is supposed to be a ground, but if there is I would like to fix it now. Incidently and less I forgot recently you all have been a ton of help. Most of the boat is in the cellar, and all ready to go back into the hull as soon as the weather breaks. Old engine coming out this week, new one going in the same day, and then its a foot race to the water. We couldnt have done it without you all>>>
