I recently purchased an 83' hunter 34 with a B&R rig. On its journey down from New England (by truck) the mast and bow pulpit were damaged beyond repair. If anyone knows of the availability of either of thies parts please let me know. Thanks Joe

Lost mast

When my mast for my Passage 42 was damaged in shipping we had a local company make a new one. I think it is better than the mast that Hunter used. The company has 3 times since my 91 was made. Good luck and remeber they have to make it just the way it was the second before it was damaged.

Try this place:

Try www.rigrite.com They bought all the inventory from Isospar for models already manufactured. they might actually have the exact mast for you. Prices are "reasonable" but not a deep discount.

Try marine surplus?

Read an article on "www.sailnet.com" entitled "Marine Surplus & Consignment Shopping" and wished I could get to one of those stores. Follow "Contents" to "From Out There" for the article. Just an idea.

I had a new mast fabricated by JSI located in St. Petersburg Fl. 813-577-3220 or www.jsisail.com and shipped to St. Croix. They did an excellent job in duplicating the existing rig and supplied all the rigging. They also supplied the mast step to match the mast extrusion.
