Does anyone have experience with installing the Hobie Bob (either Baby Bob or Mama Bob) on a Catalina Capri 16.5? We've already capsized our boat once and stuck the mast in the mud. I would like to avoid the possibility of it happening again or, even worse, turtling with the strong gusts of wind we receive in Kansas. I know that Catalina makes a floatation panel for the Capri, but it only provides about 20 lbs of floatation. My understanding is that the Baby Bob provides 32 lbs of floatation. However, I've heard that the bracket on the Hobie Bob may not fit the mast on a normal sail boat. Any insight would be appreciated. Thanks.
