Is there suppossed to be a drain in the bottom of a mast? With my 1983 O'Day 23' mast off, I looked at the hinge plate wondering how water(rain)that gets into a mast opening is supossed to drain out. There are a couple of metal items on the underside of the hinge plate that look as though they could be open in the center to let water drain, but they are closed/clogged. Any thoughts? Thanks, CVP
