Installing 1inch rigid pvc condiut inside the mast
Found 7/8 sail slugs that fit perfectly inside the extrusion that runs upside along the rear of the mast
Cant decide yet which method to attach the slugs to the conduit??
Needs to be strong enough so as to never come apart and also be able to move just a bit to remain aligned in the channel
Anyone done this?

I'd use the big tie wraps available at mechanical supply stores or stainless steel tie wire

My rigger used thin wall pvc pipe. Attached to the mast with rivets. Spaced about 3-5 feet apart.

My OEM conduit was friction fit and it slipped down, pinching /cutting the wiring at the mast base. Had to step the mast and rewire. Plastic conduit screwed to the forward internal mast .

If you use the sail slugs - I'd run a 40# (or whatever) fish line from the top to the bottom of the mast. I'd tread it through the slugs. That way if you needed to "pull it out", you'd have an easy way to do it. Wire ties WITH THE cut ends placed where they won't hook any halyards will work. It's probably a good idea to make sure you ease the cut ends with a file so they won't cut any line.

A lot of people wouldn't worry the fish line to pull the conduit slugs out -- but if you ever need to get a wire out of there....

Not sure what the 40# line is for?
What i am looking to do is attach the thin wall pvc conduit to the inside of the mast by using sail slugs at intervals perhaps the 10 foot length of the conduit
Maybe big tie wraps is the obvious answer seen to many fail over the years maybe safety wire as well in case they do
Then the plan is to feed all the wire inside the conduit
Maybe a faster or two at the bottom for extra security
