I just removed one of two Garhauer blocks due to the wheel cracking and missing edges. I have attempted to replace with new one through the web site and could not find it. I have a 1989 30 hunter and think this may be due to the age of the blocks. I am wondering if anybody replaced there's and if so, would another manufacture block work with the deck mount in place. My 2nd problem is that I removed 1 block which had a pin through a deck mount and a lock wire to keep in place the other is in place with a pin that is like a rivet the only way to remove it looks like I would have to destroy the block any imfo would be helpful. In looking at the photo already sent in, I notice these are external blocks. My 1981 H-30 has internal blocks in a Keynon mast. I readily found replacements in the RigRite website by looking under SPARS/Kenyon. I suggest you start there by looking under the manufacturer of the mast and then "parts". If these are Garhauer blocks, give them a call. They sent me the sheaves for two of my old Garhauer's for a nominal price. I mean under 5 dollars each. I eventually replaced them with new Garhauer blocks that were all metal with torlon bearings. Still at a cost of almost half the major brand names.
