Mast cleaning

My mast is dirty and stained with black marks. Anybody cleande the mast while it's up in the harbor? Somthing I don't have to worry about getting on the glass decks. This forum always has the right answers.ThanksBill

Sea Power

I use Sea Power or some other cleaner wax on my anodized mast once or twice a year, for cleaning and protection. I'm not sure how well it would clean a really dirty mast. You have to use several rags.

Bill - I wet sanded w/ 600 and soapy water then rinsed. Then waxed the mast and boom. Came out nice and did not take too long.smooth sailing!Hal
