Hello, We just purchased a used Mac 25 and are currently working to get it ready for the water! Overall the boat is good condition, although there isn't any equipment or mounts for carrying the mast while trailering. Does anyone have any links or guides for the hardware for carrying the mast? Any suggestions would be great! Thanks in advance --Shawn

Here's a pic of a boat I sold last year

It was a Mac 25...I remember when I was cleaning it out I found a crusty receipt from a welder for $650 for a 'Mastrack'. I assume it was for the stainless steel tube assembly. It was handy when I dropped the mast for rerigging, plenty stout for trailering, but the boat was never trailered.

use the rudder pintles to hold a 2x4

most common solution is to pull rudder for less overhang and more ground clearance, then rudder pinlted are clear to hold 2x4 post to be rear mast suport. cheap and works good.
