I have an opportunity to buy a 78 Catalina 22 in great shape but w/o the mast/boom/sails and rigging. Anyone have any for sale or know where to look or how difficult and expensive would these be to replace? Also do you think these items from an Oday 22 could work?Thank you.

It'd better be cheap

You will find that replacing the mast, boom, sails and rigging will be quite expensive compared to buying a vintage C-22 with all of its rigging intact unless you find another boat to salvage from. Even so, I'd say that a bare hull 1978 should be almost free to make it a worthwhile project. Given the popularity of the C-22 as a class, I'd advise against the O-Day 22 rigging idea unless it's almost free, too. Even so, I'd want to make sure that I could modify it so that I could match the C-22 class measurements.
