 spent most of the day reading the mast to be stepped and a boom truck coming at 6pm today.....wrapped all the running rigging and standing rigging along with the mast wiring and vhf cable to move from my shop down to the side of the boat thing must weigh 400lbs rigged out ....have two other friends lined up to help.....moved the mast along side the boat..... got the table set so as not to tie up the boom truck to long..... loaded the choker on the mast and took of the shrink wrap in ready for the boom truck....truck showed up straight up 6 pm ...set the outriggers on the truck.....run the boom out and up....dropped the hook and loaded the choker on the hook.... had a tag line on the choker and on the bottom of the mast...my two friends tailed the mast base and furler foil and drum..... up up and away got the mast vertical and went up top side the recive the mast ......positioned the mast over the step and started down to the deck step...went on just fine......ok now back to the rear stay and pinned it to the tang.....back up to the port side shrouds...had to tug a little bit to make the connections as the hook on the boom truck was favoring the starboard side of the mast ...ok now over to starboard side and pin the shrouds there they went easy ....now foward to the forestay and furler......pinned it with ease.....man was i glad everything fit like a glove ...now went back to the rear stay and tightened it till the furler foil was straight...tightened the uppers stays and balanced the mast ...on to the lowers stays...slacked off the hook on the boom truck and tightened the lowers.....everything went just great and in one hour was done with the boom truck... and everything was balanced.......gotta give SECO South a big atta boy for making the standing rigging everything was cut just right as if he had measured my boat in person can't say enough good about these folks......temp wired the mast lights and check them to be sure all were working ...let there be light and there was ......posting some pics for your viewing
