I have a 1975 C-27 and am interested to know whether it is safe to cut an access hole in the mast so I can get at the wiring harness during the season. If it is safe I would like to know how big a hole can be made and how far up from the deck step to go. Any other comments or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Many thanks in advance!
