Masonboro inlet

Looking for info on the Masonboro inlet. Have you been thru recently? Deep & well marked?
We have a 42' boat with 5'6" draft. Want to sail up to B-fort. We'll need to leave at first light (weather permitting of course) so we won't use this inlet if it's a 'time the tide' kind of place.

I've used that inlet. It's well maintained and marked. Rock Jetties on both sides. You should not have any problems. Although I'll say that I haven't been through it this season. I've used it for years and never had any problems.

Ditto previous comments,
Went out of Masonboro early March of this year in 20 kt SW winds ... no problem.. and did fast downwind run to Beaufort Inlet.
