Masking Tape

I am hoping to paint my nonskid deck this weekend and was wondering would be good tape to use for a crisp edge

any time i need a really fine edge, I outline with the 3M plastic tape in 1/4 inch width. This is the stuff car painters use. Then I cover that with some clean release tape also 3M.

DON'T try just run of the mill masking tape- it bleeds under very badly

The fine line green frog stuff or 3m fine line green tape. It is designed to handle direct heat and sun a bit longer before becoming to gooey or permanent. Use soft plastic puddy thingy to help it make good contact to clean and properly prepped surface.

I used the 3M blue. Held up exceptionally well to the gelcoat I applied.
