The N2K backbone from the engine module ends at the MAS display. The splitter (or T) for it is in the port cockpit locker behind the display. Remove the terminator from the splitter and replace it with a N2K to STng cable that will run to the STng splitter in the instrument pod above the port wheel. It replaces the terminator on that splitter. (I moved that splitter to the cockpit locker because of the cable lengths I had) To prevent power from going from the N2K network to the STng network, a power isolator is inserted where the N2k network enters the splitter for the MAS display. The new terminator that will now services both networks is inserted in the splitter that is near where the N2K cable exits the MAS engine module. This module is situated below and behind the turbo.
Parts required:
1. N2K to STng cable
2. Power isolator (Anchor 2701113)
3. N2K terminator. ( use the original one from the MAS display splitter)
4. Because I had a short N2K to STng cable, I replaced the black and white STng spur cable in the instrument pod with a longer one so I could relocate that splitter to the cockpit locker. If you get a long enough N2K to STng cable you don’t need to do this.
