1) Wondering how other Mariner owners rig your main sheet. Currently I have a single block with a becket at mid-boom, and a fiddle block aft of the c/b trunk. I'm not the best at physics, wondering if there is easier trimming for my wife if I switched to a double block at the boom-does more wheels in the block equate to less force required to trim?2) Any benefit to running the main sheet to the end of the boom attaching to a traveler on the stern?3) My third-hand Mariner is missing the boom vang. Last sail I experienced the expected boom lift when sailing off the wind. I don't plan to race yet, where maintaining sail shape is crucial, but is there a safety issue to not running a vang?4) Anybody use or have repaired their onboard fresh water tank/sink? I'd like to get the most out of my Mariner, looking for some ideas on how it is run or a literary schematic.
