Does anyone have a photo that they can email me that shows the correct rigging for the mainsheet on my 1970 Mariner 2 + 2. I have it attached at the top end to the end of the boom and at the bottom end at the top rear of the centerboard housing. It seems a little awkward so it might be wrong. Thanks,Tim

Main Rigging

My 74 Mariner is rigged as followed Main with slides in track and line from top main over pully top mast and down to cleat 1 foot from bottom of mast. Bottom main in track on boom with leading edge lock by pin and line attached on trailing end loop through small pully and pulled tight to cleat at middle of boom. Sheet to ajust main is attached from center of boom to end of centerboard housing. I have rigged a topping lift to hold up the boom when the sail is down. To do it I add a pully were the rear stay is attached to the mast, and then rigged a line from end of boom over pully to a extra cleat I installed under the one for the Jib Try http://oday.home.att.net/modindex.htm For More help Les
