I have used this site...and Defender to outfit my boat. While neither offers a military discount the prices beat everything else. They have a great return/refund policy and will follow-up on items I need and are not listed on thier site. While some items I need are no longer manufactured they have the expertise to help me find newer replacements.
Don't chase the lower price. You will often find the part/item substandard, without a warrenty...and not backed by the person you bought it from.
My advice (fwiw) is to stick with the reputable sources of parts and supplies.
For the best "big ticket" deals. Annapolis Boat Show.
Best deal on the east coast is the annual Annapolis Boat Flea Market/Swap Meet.
Locally...check to see if any of the local marinas/yacht clubs have a "swap" meet.
