Mates,

my newly purchased Vega #169 has a composting head which I'm not
satisfied with......I'm going to replace it so I'm open to
suggestions...

the boats I've been on before (not many) have had a flush system, but
have always had a smell of urine to them....What do you Vegans
recommend?

Bruce,

Which brand of composting head do you have? I recently did just the opposite
and took out my water flush system and am putting in an Air Head. I've seen
these in operation and they seem good for me. But then I single hand so I
can carefully regulate the system.

I have a cut down air head and it would be fine if it were just me
alone.......is your airhead a composting one west marine has a model
called an airhead but it seems to be a porta potty design

I just finished doing my head and have pics in the photos section of the forum (go to the forum home page). The pics are in the "Good Things" album. There are other pictures from other Vega head designs in there too. Also, some of the Vega owners have their own web pages with their pictures.
