I guess there are marine surveys, and then there are marine surveys. We had "Rover" surveyed today, and it took a little over six hours. At this very moment you all should reach around and pat yourselves on the back. Absent two additional clamps on the exhaust and fuel intake, it was a a no brainer. He said he will put the value around $20,000.00. Not bad for a boat that cost us $1750.00 and we put $10,000.00 into. My wife and I did the work, but without your (most often patient) advice, suggestions, and input it never would have made it this far. I have 5200 in my ears, 101 in my pockets, I think Sikaflex in my nose, minor brain damage, nerve damage, some hair loss, and boy/girl are we glad its over with. Rover is going for a swim on the high tide Friday afternoon. Thank you all, your the best, and if your out in Buzzards Bay, Nantucket Sound, or Vineyard sound during the Summer, and you happen to see the name on the transom, lets drop anchor, I'm buying. Fair Winds!P.S I will post some pictures after I get back from the shrinks office.
