On July 14 at about 1:20 p.m. the Paradise Cove Marina on Ft. Gibson Lake, OK was hit by a severe thunderstorm with sustained winds of 70+ mph, gusts to 90+. This thunderstorm complex was called a "derecho" ("inland hurricane") due to the longevity of the hurricane force winds, up to 20 minutes or longer as opposed to the usual gust front which only lasts a short while.
One section of a floating dock was torn loose from its moorings and driven into the gas dock/marina store building, which in turn was pushed about 50 feet sideways.
I will post some pictures later. Damage was extensive, with portions of the roofing over some of the covered slips torn loose and some of the docks twisted and buckled. Several sailboats suffered ripped / torn off biminis. Thankfully no one was injured.
I will post my experience in a separate thread - I was actually out on the lake when the storm struck.

We caught the northern edge of that system up on Oologah and the marina suffered some damage but not nearly as extensive as what you guys got.

Oklahoma, where the wind goes sweeping down the plains and tears sh!t up.

I like Oologah, used to sail my little centerboarder from the Hawthorn Bay ramp just across from you all at Redbud. I looked at a couple of boats there before I bought my Pearson at Ft. Gibson.

The dock that my slip is on broke about halfway out and had about a 20 degree bend in it and the service dock was nearly pushed onto shore when the big metal arms broke lose from the anchor points on the shore side.
I didn't see any damage on any of the covered power boat docks but I didn't go that far down the row.

Any updates on the damage to your Pearson?

Water was 2 1/2' inside, I borrowed a submersible pump and generator from the marina (Ann and her crew that run Paradise Cove are the greatest!) and pumped her dry, put in an electric bilge pump and floater switch to keep up with the leak, but I haven't tested it yet since the water wasn't deep enough to submerge the pump. Will go out and check on her Monday. I'm going to have to arrange to haul her at some point to assess the extent of damage underneath. Between that and acquiring a replacement main sail, it'll be awhile before she sails again.
