Marina Question

Hello all
Awhile back right after I bought the old motoryacht I posted I was looking for a cheap marina to put her where I could do alot of the work myself.

SOmebody suggested a marina on the Chesapeake Bay that was also a campground and I could park my motorhome there and work all weekend and the rate seemed really good.

I have scoured my emails and can't find that one, Anybody remember?

Thanks in advance!

Hi
I thought it was like XXXXX point marina and campground at the end of some single digit road like 2, 3, 5, 6 or something like that. Same place?

Route 5 in Southern Maryland. Point Lookout Marina is down that direction.
just head up the potomac river and make your first right to St. Marys River
then bear right into St Georges Creek. Make sure you follow the makers, the
channel winds around quite a bit and the water is under 2' outside of the markers
The Campground is Shadyside Campground has a small Marina with about 20
slips that never have more than 4 boats in them. The docks are not in great
shape. Point Lookout has full services and is just around the corner. At one
time the restaurant at Shadyside was nice, but it has lost a little of its
"luster". Slip should run you about $700 a year down there.

Hi Dan
Well I have spent between 12-15 hours combing my chart, road atlas, online sites, campground directories, 411.com and every camping and or marina directory I can find and I can't find this place shadyside.

On the blue chart when I start up the potomac the first right is smith craak not saint marys, and I easily found point lookout marina there on the chart, in the directory etc no problem. Ok so passing that by the second right off of the potomac is amazingly enough not labeled on my blue chart, or my garmin americas blue chart on the laptop. Since it runs right past St Marys Md I'll assume it's St Marys. Ok the instructions say once in St marys take my first right into St Georges creek. That turns out to be St Inigoes creek, but coming into st marys the first place on the left and not right is st georges creek. I have looked in all the camping directories, marina directories and on all these maps and cant find anyplace called shadusude or shady side and have no clue where to look for it. Do You know of a web address or street address etc? If so I can get a lat/lon and mark it out so I can find it.

Sorry for having a gump moment on ya
