Today's forecast was for 10 ~ 15 kts. So I went out and never saw 5 kts. These snaps were from off of Venice Beach. No problem, at least I left the slip. Sorry for the poor quality. Best regards, Big Joe.

You know they kind of do look like little whales. The pod I saw was maybe 6 or 7 all told. I haven't overnighted at Paradise Cove but I wouldn't mind doing so this summer. Let me know if you and Novelman decide to do it as I would like to tag along. PS. I hope your wife is doing better and is comfortable. Big Joe.

off the stern, but didn,t catch anything, went back out after dropping off the brother and his kid to try and catch some lobster off the end of the breakwater, didn't catch anything but the sunset. SWMBO wants to go out again this Saturday night, she thinks the lobsters are paying me off, I tried to tell her that I am really that bad a fisherman ;D Thanks for the number Frank. Tim

I was thinking about going out this weekend depending on weather. If you'd like to join me we can throw out the hoops. Just let me know. I doubt that my SWMBO is willing to go but you are welcome to bring yours. As it stands right now Saturday would be best, Sunday looks like rain. Frank

Small Craft Advisory now in effect through Saturday morning Gale Warning in effect from Saturday afternoon through Sunday evening Sat NW winds 10 to 20 kt increasing to 20 to 30 kt...with frequent gusts to 35 kt by noon. Combined seas 6 to 8 ft dominant period 14 seconds. Slight chance of showers and thunderstorms in the afternoon Sat Night NW winds 20 to 30 kt...with frequent gusts to 35 kt overnight. Strongest in western portion. Combined seas 7 to 9 ft dominant period 13 seconds. Chance of showers and slight chance of tstms. Even inside the breakwater with a 35kt wind and 9 ft swells and an astronomical high tide the waves will be blowing over the breakwater. Monday and Tuesday looking better. Frank
