Marathon Harbor

Well we pickedup a mooring in Booth Key Harbor today and went ashore for a party with about 20+ boaters from punta Gorda with lots of food aand drinks for sure,so beautiful here so calm before the wind starts howling the nextt couple of days.

Breakfest

Well so far things not bad and waiting to see how the weather turns out and maybe we can go ashore for some sight seeing and an adventure while eating my wifes favorate breakfest french toast with cream cheese on it with strawberrys,yum yum.

We'll be at Boot Key in few days, but will probably miss you. We are on a mooring ball at FMB w/some PGSC boaters. Pics on my blog.

Stuff grows FAST in Boot Key Harbor.

We were unimpressed by the place. Good safe place for a brief stop, but not much else compared to any alternatives within 100 miles

Looks like we will be here for a few more days here with 20-25 mph winds and staying on boat yesterday with rain and than 25 mph winds watched DVD's all day and did not see anybody going ashore,may be here until tuesday or when winds calm down,you may not make it here either.

Islamoroda

The winds died down today 10-15mph and was nice to go into town turtle rescue hospiital and than over to beach for a while.
We leave early tomorrow morning for Islamorada on the inside,the winds will be on the nose so motoring in side looks like the plan.

The last time we left Marathon, we also had the wind on the nose on the inside route. As we veered more to the north, we were able to sail close-hauled for the rest of the day. Turned out to be a nice ride. Good luck to y'all.

Anchored for the night and Happy Hour with our group of PGSC and on to Biscayne bay tomorrow and more sailing.

Went to Dinner Key

Went to Dinner Key at Coconut Grove marina ffor a few days and into nice town and than over to No Name harbor for a day and than stayed inside ICW down to Gilberts rest, for the night,up to little sharl for the night and next day on to Smole House Bay.

WE got a mooring ball for the night and back to Pelican Bay tomorrow.
