Can anyone tell me how to find out where the boat we are buying was built? We have the hull number (CTYN5908D090). Thanks,

The attached chart is for the 270, but the methodology is the same

Most of Catalina's parts & service are now located in the Tampa Bay area facility in Largo FL.

Thanks for the input on the HIN. Catalina had manufacturing facilities in both FL and CA in 1990. Are you saying that all C30s were built in the CA facility?

Not saying it specifically, but I recall reading someplace that existing production stayed there, and new stuff started up in Florida.
Armed with the serial number, call them up and ask.

5693 was built in Largo, FL in April 1989.
